Ivan The Terrible is a two-part historical epic film about Ivan IV of Russia made by Russian director Sergei Eisenstein. Part 1 was released in 1944 but Part 2 was not released until 1958 due to political censorship. The films were originally planned as part of a trilogy, but Eisenstein died before filming of the third part could be finished.

Vincent Price and Agnes Moorhead star in this 1959 film about strange goings on in an old house. The house is called The Oaks and has over $1000 000 worth of stolen securites hidden somewhere inside it. It seems that everyone is looking for the money too and who can blame them? The only problem is that a dangerous criminal, known only as The Bat, is also looking for the missing loot. The Bat kills his victims by ripping their throats out with a steel claw and doesn’t seem to have a face. Perhaps mystery author Cornelia van Gorder (Moorhouse) will be able to put a face to the crimes and, if her answer’s on the money, find the missing securiteis as well.
